After hearing that the Euromaiden demonstrations in Kiev were rapidly turning to riot, Ukrainian photographers Vladislav Krasnoshchok and Sergiy Lebedynskyy immediately travelled there, and recorded the rioting and “…possible beginning of a civil war.” over the following days. The resulting dark, grainy and shaky images reflect the atmosphere and energy of this historical event of protesters, demanding closer European integration. These protests led to the Ukrainian revolution later the same year.

Euromaidan is a handmade book, and if a book can be angry then this one is. The pages are roughly stitched together and the cover cracks every time the book is opened.
